Popis: Delirium is a neuropathological condition that can be potentially life threatening. Nursing home residents are particularly vulnerable to develop delirium, but research tends to focus on the acute hospital setting so far. Professionals working in long-term care settings signal little knowledge and competence regarding delirium. Therefore, increasing the knowledge of professionals is highly relevant. The aim of the Realist Review is for that reason to understand how a training intervention for health care professionals (HCP) on the topic of delirium works in nursing homes.
