Popis: In this paper, we present a generalized three-dimensional (3D) massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) scattering model for high-speed train (HST) macro-cell wireless communication propagation environment. The proposed model introduces a track-side base station and mobile stations (MS) inside the train with local scattering clusters around (i.e., buildings, trees, signs et al.). Then, the time-varying channel parameters on account of moving properties of the MS and the power azimuth spectrum as well as the Doppler frequency shift of the scattering waves are investigated based on the geometric model. Furthermore, two underlying 3D massive MIMO antenna array models including the spherical array assumption and geometric angular properties are introduced for estimating the spatial fading correlation and channel capacities of the MIMO multi-antenna systems. Finally, numerical results show good agreement with previous models, which improves the utility of our proposed model for describing outdoor HST communication environments.
