Popis: | A partially non-linear theory of sandwich shells in tensor notation, and in terms of a reference state, is presented. The Hamilton principle is used to obtain the equations of motion and boundary conditions of sandwich shells. Each layer of the sandwich shell is of different thickness and of a different orthotropic material having symmetry with respect to two orthogonal planes. The transverse shear as well as the inertia and thermal effects are included in the analysis. The equations of motion and boundary conditions are simplified under the assumptions due to the Donnell-Mustari-Vlasov approximation. |
