Popis:	In this review are discussed the known modes of thiophene coordination η1(S), η2, η4 and η5) in organometallic complexes. Their structures, bonding and stabilities are related to the adsorption of thiophene on heterogeneous hydrodesulfurization (HDS) catalysts. Modes of benzo[b]thiophene and dibenzothiophene coordination in organometallic complexes are briefly summarized.
