Popis: | In a numberof counties convenience dictates that the county record office has two sites, for example for officialand for deposited records. In Staffordshire the ‘record office’ complex has three components: the Staffordshire Record Office, the William Salt Library and the Lichfield Joint Record Office, responsible to three different supervisory bodies, which, however, are themselves closely allied; but while the Staffordshire Record Office and William Salt Library adjoin each other in Stafford, the Joint Record Office is 17 miles away in Lichfield. |
