In the current business context, Social Responsibility [SR] has become a competitive differential and for its promotion, it is up to the administrator to create ways to make SR a business strategy. It strengthens the organization by motivating employees, reducing turnover and increasing productivity, pursuing the sustainable development goals fulfillment through continuous improvements. The socio-technical aspect of the work system is considered one tool to achieve such improvements. A participant research was conducted in a hospital using the Macroergonomic Work Analysis [MA] method, which has as its pillars the socio-technical approach and the participation of stakeholders. The results showed that the work is tiring, stressful, repetitive and monotonous, which is directly related to the increment of absenteeism and employee turnover as well as to lower productivity and to employee dissatisfaction. Finally, the research will continue following the next steps of the MA method to implement improvements, as well as investigate environmental issues concerning the ecological aspect, seeking to contribute to the sustainable development of the organization. |
