The phenomenon of academic mobility attracts the increased attention of researchers in recent years due to complicating scientific interactions, escalation of research migration flows and enhanced significance of mobility for scientific progress, dissemination of knowledge, and career development of researchers. The rapid increase in the number of papers on academic mobility is also caused by the emergence of new analytical tools including bibliometric ones. The report demonstrates current types of academic mobility and development of main subject areas detected via citation analysis in the last 30 years. |
