Popis: | Reflection through intelligent reflecting surfaces is evaluated under the specular and diffuse reflectivity assumptions in channel modelling. In this paper, the effects of these two different approaches are investigated in a comparative manner. In this scope, the preservation of power law is included to the investigations for path loss of the intelligent reflecting surfaces. Therefore, a more detailed path loss expression is proposed. As a result of the comparison made by using this expression, an evaluation of the cases that the intelligent surfaces are beneficial in path loss aspect is made for both approach. |
