Popis:	The behaviour of a ferrofluid device subjected to the action of low-frequency orthogonal magnetic fields has been studied. The odd and even harmonics due to the nonlinearity of the magnetization curve are determined. The experimental setup is described and the results are compared with a theoretical model. The experimental and theoretical results offer the possibility of developing a method and a device for vectorial measurements of the low-amplitude magnetic fields.
