A DOA-Based Separability Test and Confidence Evaluation Approach for Deinterleaving Pulse Sequence

Popis: In order to evaluate the reliability of deinterleaving results in electronic support measure (ESM), a separability test method named as sorted-DOA difference test (SDDT) and the concept of confidence level of DOA (CLDOA) for the deinterleaving pulse sequence are presented. The results of theoretical analysis and simulation experiments show that, the proposed SDDT method has the ability to examine the separability of each pulse cluster, and its resolution of test increases rapidly with the augment of the pulse quantities. In addition, the index of CLDOA gives a good assessment to confidence degree of the considered pulse cluster in the DOA dimension. Our results verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed methods.
