Popis: The interaction of polyamic acids of various chemical structure with poly-N-vinylpyrrolidone in amide solvents and in methanol is studied by a polarized luminescence method. The formation of interpolymer complexes from aromatic amide-containing and aliphatic vinyl amide-containing polymers depends primarily on the parameters of interaction of the amide solvent molecules with the macromolecules, which depend on the chemical structure features of the polymer. Hydrogen bonds between the COOH groups of the polyamide acids and the C = O groups of the poly-N-vinylpyrrolidone play an essential part in stabilizing the complexes. The role of crown-rings in polyamide acid chains in the formation of interpolymer contacts with poly-N-vinylpyrrolidone is discussed.
