This paper presents a Multiple-Input Single-Output Full Bridge DC-DC converter. This converter will be used to combine energy from multiple renewable energy sources to a single common output for a DC electrical system. System level approach to the design of the converter allows simple and functional solution to the requirement. Theoretical calculations, simulations, layout, and thermal analysis are presented in this report. Experimental data including functionality and performance of the proposed converter are also included in this report. Results show that the proposed MISO converter exhibits full functionality when tested with up to four power sources while outputting a stable 48VDC at 300W maximum output power. |
