Popis:	Although total knee-arthroplasty (TKA) implants and instruments have continuously evolved, the basic surgical technique and approach has essentially remained unchanged. Current instrumentation and implant design requires extensive soft-tissue disruption for appropriate exposure and implantation. There is an opportunity to evolve the surgical technique for a TKA into something much less invasive, with improved post-operative results.
