Popis:	We report a rare case of multiple colon cancer manifesting perforative peritonitis. A 79-year-old woman was transferred to the hospital because of abrupt onset of severe lower abdominal pain. Abdominal radiography confirmed perforation of the intestine, and an emergency operation was conducted. During the operation, a perforation and multiple tumors in the sigmoid colon were observed and Hartmann's procedure was performed. Histological study of the resected specimen disclosed four lesions of colon cancer, one adenoma of the sigmoid colon, and perforation at the center of the advanced cancerous lesion.
