Popis: A prototype of the MTsFS multipurpose Fourier transform spectrometer designed for remote sounding of the Earth’s surface is described. The interferometer that is a part of the spectrometer is based on the double-pendulum scheme and has hollow retroreflectors with an aperture of 2.5”. A 4 × 4 cryogenic CdHgTe array and a pyroelectric detector are used as radiation sensors. The interferometer is equipped with a system for scanning transversely to the flight path with the compensation for image smearing caused by spacecraft movement.
