Popis: | Summary Passive transfer of tuberculin sensitivity to normal, intact guinea pigs, or to the leukocytes thereof, was accomplished using whole cells, crude cell lysates, microsomes or Sephadex fractions from tuberculin sensitive animals. Sephadex G 50 Fraction I from sensitized cell lysates, which was capable of passive transfer, contained one major peak with an ultraviolet absorption maximum at 280 mµ, suggesting the presence of a protein component. Sephadex G 50 Fraction III, also capable of passive transfer, contained a major component with a ribose sugar moiety and an ultraviolet absorption maximum at 260 mµ, suggesting an RNA-like material. |
