Popis: | Based on the morphological filtration of the measured edge profile of a cutting tool, a method for diagnosing its condition is developed. The features of morphological filtration are analyzed. For a given radius of the structural element (disk), we establish the dependence of the average distance between the upper and lower envelopes on the radius of the disk. It has been suggested that the identified relationship is different for profiles of cutting tools of varying degrees of wear. To confirm the assumption, morphological filtration of the measured profiles of the cutting edges of the knife of the cutting machine was performed. A mathematical formula is derived for the dependence of the average distance between the upper and lower envelopes on the radius of the disk. In this formula, an indicator of the ratio of the radius of the disk to the dimensional coefficient, found by approximating the experimental data, is a diagnostic parameter for determining the degree of wear of the tool. We determine bounds for the numerical values of the diagnostic parameter characterizing new and worn cutting tools. A functional diagram of the diagnostic system for the rapid assessment of the state of the cutting tool is proposed. |
