Model of initial stage of ultrafine metal powder sintering

Popis:	In this paper, a model of the initial stage of sintering of ultrafine powders, which is in agreement with the experimentally found dependence between the temperature of sintering start (TSS) and the size of powder particles, is proposed. The ratio TSS/Tm (where Tm is the temperature of particle melting), obtained from this model is compared with the experimental one. Good agreement between the model and experiment is obtained.
