Popis: This article is a brief account of a group that ran at a social services family centre in 1994. The contextual issues facing black people in Britain are considered, providing a rationale for setting up the group. The group content and process are discussed and evaluated. The group appears to have been successful and has stimulated other projects. The Centre is now being used frequently by local ethnic minorities.
