'Anti-Judaism' of Roman Legislation under Constantine the Great

Popis: The article is devoted to analysis of the problems connected with the campaign of confinement of Jewish proselytism restored by Constantine the Great and reflected in the Roman imperial legislation. The authoralso examines the role of this processas a part of the state policy of Christianization. The research concerns questions about the reasons of occurrence of the laws aimed at limiting the impact of Judaism and Jewish customs in the Empire and traces the process of development of restrictive course provided by the Christian authorities and Jewish reaction on it.
