Popis: | Patients with gonarthrosis often experience mild inflammatory symptoms such as thermal sensation in the knees in addition to pain.Intraarticular injection of steroids and other agents are widely used to treat such symptoms. Evaluation of such treatment, however, is largely dependent on complaints by patient and the subjectivity of the person administering the treatment. There is also a lack of objective indicators. In the present study, we investigated changes before and after treatment by monitoring the skin temperature of the knees, and performing frequency analysis of skin temperature variation to examire its usefulness. |
