Time-resolved spectroscopy in81Br2: gyroscopic and hyperfine predissociation

Popis: | Lifetime measurements of a number of (v, J) rovibronic levels are performed in pure isotopic 81Br2. The gyroscopic and hyperfine predissociation parameters are obtained by mono- and multi-exponential analysis of the fluorescence decay. A comparison of the two methods is made. The results obtained by multi-exponential analysis are also compared with those obtained by intensity measurements on single hyperfine components in molecular beam experiments. The results do not reveal the same string J dependence of the predissociation parameters. |
