Popis: | Inorganic salts of dithioearbamic acid (sodium N-dimethylaminodithiocarbamate, ammonium dithioearbamate, dimethylammonium N,N-dimethyldithiocarbamate, sodium N-diethyldithiocarbamate, sodium N,N-dipropyldithiocarbamate) are known to possess radioprotective properties [ 1 5]. A significant role in the mechanism of action of the radioprotective agents belongs to inhibition of the oxidative processes in the human organism, as manifested by a decrease in the body temperature and the rate of oxygen consumption [6]. In animals treated with radioprotective compounds, the maximum stability of the organism was observed in the period of minimum oxygen consumption [7]. The purpose of this work was to search for new potential radioprotectors among the derivatives ofdithiocarbamic acid. We have studied the hypothermal properties of these compounds and their ability to reduce the oxygen consumption rate in order to establish a relationship between the radioprotective effect and metabolic processes in the animal organism. We have synthesized a new series of potassium and ammonium salts of dithiocarbamic acid, having the following general formulas |
