With the rapid development of urban rail transit in China, an increasing number of subway stations are being built in the centres of densely populated and congested cities. In such scenarios, the foundation pit constructed by one half-cover excavation can play a balanced role in the construction of the metro station. This study investigates a half-cover excavation of a subway station structure, considers the excavation sub-step, compares it with open-cut excavation, and analyses the force and deformation of the support structure. It also provides some references for practical construction and information monitoring. |
