Popis: | Despite the pressures for online courses, there still appears to be demand for MBA courses delivered conventionally and through the popular twinning models involving a combination of onshore and offshore study. However, little or no research appears to have been done to assess the value and subsequent satisfaction of students with this model. Therefore, this study, using 174 Chinese respondents at different stages of their twinned MBA course, addressed the benefits of, and concerns about, a twinned programme, including the strengths and weaknesses of Chinese and Western academics, were canvassed. The preferred proportion of onshore versus offshore study and a discriminant function of recommendations were ascertained. The majority of respondents recommended MBA study via a twinning programme involving both offshore and onshore study. |
