Popis: | A 180 degree superconducting bending magnet for a synchrotron radiation source has been designed and constructed based on 3-dimensional electromagnetic analysis. The magnet is covered by iron shield to prevent the leakage of magnetic fields. The liquid helium consumption of the equipment is very small in the persistent current mode. The measurement results are in good agreement with the analysed ones. This magnet is under operation as a synchrotron radiation source at a beam energy of 600MeV. The radiation can be used for several applications, such as, X-ray lithography in semiconductor industries. |
