Popis: Metastatic tumors of the oral region are comparatively rare, being only 1-2% of the overall oral malignancy spectrum. This paper presents a case with lung carcinoma which metastasized to the scalp, supraclavicular lymph nodes and mandible.A 51-year-old man with diagnosis of sqamous cell carcinoma of the lung was admitted to surgery of our hospital.Four months later he was referred to the oral surgery of the same hospital because of gingival swelling.A panoramic radiograph showed radiolucency in the area of the left mandibular premolar root tip.A biopsy specimen of the mandible indicated well-differentiated sqamous cell carcinoma and resembled histologically the one seen in the lung lesion.A histologic and clinical diagnosis of primary lung carcinoma metastatic to the mandible was made.
