The distribution network will employ more AC/DC hybrid power supply mode in the future. In this paper, an optimal configuration method of converter capacity in AC/DC hybrid distribution network considering overload risk is proposed. Firstly, the time series probability model of feeder equivalent load in distribution network is considered, and an analytical method for calculating overload risk of AC/DC hybrid distribution network based on load variable space partition is proposed. Secondly, the optimal configuration model of converter capacity is established with the objective of minimizing the comprehensive cost, and the optimization model is solved by combining the recursive method and the smooth Newton method. In addition, the optimal configuration model reveals that AC/DC hybrid power supply mode can significantly reduce the overload risk of distribution network, and the optimal configuration scheme of AC/DC hybrid distribution network is closely related to its load characteristics. Finally, the effectiveness of the model is verified by the AC/DC hybrid distribution network with three AC feeders. |
