Indirect Method for Kilovolt Nanosecond Pulses Measurement

Popis: The article presents the construction of a system that allows to measure the output voltage of a marx generator generating nanosecond pulses with a voltage amplitude of hundreds of kilovolts and low energy. The assumption of the structure was that the measuring system influence on the generator output would be as small as possible. To achieve this goal, it was decided to use an indirect measurement, based on the measurement of the electrical field in the reference electrode arrangement, with a small capacity and inductance. The article presents the results of tests and numerical analysis of the system.
