Research and Design of the Solar Charging System Based on FPGA

Popis: This article introduces an efficient solar charging system based on FPGA. The charging circuit composed of BUCK-BOOST switch converter, realizes the function of maximum power point tracking (MPPT) of solar cells by using high speed controller---FPGA and a new MPPT technology---WVSVH P&O method. This paper explains the design and simulates it. The simulation results show the topology is able to achieve the purpose of charging efficiently.
