Study of molecular motion in crosslinked polymers of dimethacrylate oligotetramethylene glycols

Popis: A study was made of molecular mobility in crosslinked polymers obtained by hardening of dimethacrylic esters of oligotetramethylene glycols of different molecular weights. Several relaxation transitions were detected by dynamic mechanical methods which are determined by the dimensions of oligomer units. Starting from a given length of the unit, segmental mobility was observed in oligotetramethylene oxide units, as well as segmental motion in the main poly-methacrylate chains.
