Popis: | The process of the self-assembly of riboflavin molecules in solutions was studied by spectroscopic and microscopic methods. It is shown that the aggregation of riboflavin molecules is observed in concentrated aqueous solutions and in binary mixtures ethanol + acetone and ethanol + chloroform, as well as on the surface of a glass substrate. Riboflavin molecules are self-assembled by Van der Waals forces. Based on the spectra of linear dichroism, it has been established that the structure of riboflavin aggregates is needle-like. It is shown that the resulting aggregates are orientized with a positive charge of ribitol to the negative charge of the flavin part of riboflavin and have a «head-tail» structure. |
