Popis: | In this study, a new derivative of 8-hydroxyquinoline has been synthesized, and characterized by 1H/13C NMR, IR, elemental analysis, and X-ray crystallography. The potential anti-anxiety, and anti-depressant effects of intraperitoneal administration of 5-(((2-hydroxy-ethyl) thio) methyl)quinolin-8-ol were evaluated using the behavioral tests: Open Field Test (OFT), Elevated Plus-Maze (EPM) test, and Forced Swim Test (FST). |
