(Phenylthio)acetyliron complex [(η5-C5H5)Fe(CO)(PPh3)COCH2SPh] configuration of aldols

Popis:	(Phenylthio)acetyliron complex 3 was obtained by reaction of the anion generated with butyllithium from acetyliron complex 4 with diphenyl disulphide. Alkylation and aldol reactions of the anion of 3 were investigated. X-Ray structural determination of four aldols and reactions with aldehydes in the presence of Et2Al+ or Sn2+ permitted the assignment of configuration to all aldols.
