Popis: | To protect and prevent vaccines from excessively high or low temperatures throughout the supply chain, from manufacturing to administration, it is necessary to monitor and evaluate vaccine cold chain performance in real time. Therefore, today, the need for smart tracking is a requirement that is accentuated with critical systems, such as the vaccine supply chain. In this article, we propose a model for instant cold chain monitoring using a colored Petri net (CPN). This model focuses on the central storage of vaccines and takes into account certain WHO (World Health Organization) recommendations. The simulation and the key performance indicators obtained can be useful for decision-makers in order to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of vaccine storage. |
