Improving Sucker-rod pump energy efficiency through electric drive movement control

Popis: The article describes design of sucker-rod pump position controller, which regulates the coordinates of the polished rod movement along a pre-determined trajectory through the adjuster of speed regulator. Proposed control technique intend to achieve better energy efficiency of unit. The principles of energy efficient control technique by defining the rod string suspension point coordinates according to the harmonic law are shown. For quantitative assessment of the energy-efficiency of proposed coordinate control system the simulation of complex sucker-rod pump model was done. The efficiency of proposed control technique for the sucker-rod pump were confirmed by the simulation results.
