Compensation of the Rotor Faults in the Vector Controlled Induction Motor Drive Using Parameter Estimator

Popis: In the paper the possibilities of induction motor rotor faults compensating in a field-oriented control system is presented. It has been shown, that the change of the rotor resistance caused by the rotor faults evokes analogous phenomena as in the case of incorrect identification of this parameter. The proposed compensation system is based on the analytical adaptive rotor resistance estimator. Simulation studies were carried out in the MATLAB / Simulink environment. Experimental tests were performed using the dSpace1103 set.
