Popis: | Any transmission system is having gear is of important requirement. Early fault detection is a primary necessity. For this purpose a nonlinear mathematical model has been considered of gear contact .The entire system is represented by discretized ordinary differential equation taking backlash error and transmission error into consideration. The overall contact modeling is done in MATLAB simulink. A linear vibration analysis of normal gear and faulty gear is done using ANSYS Software. Two different types of conditions were considered, one with perfect condition and other with small crack. So for the gear contact analysis a nonlinear mathematical model has been considered.
