Six miticide treatments were applied to 3-ft sections of 2-ft-tall Japanese hollies on 26 Apr., using a 1 gal B&G stainless steel sprayer at 30 lb/in2. Treatments were evaluated 3, 7, 10, and 14 days after treatment (DAT) by counting the number of mites per 10 leaves from each treatment and an untreated check. A second application was made on 10 May and evaluated 3, 7, and 10 DAT. Three additional treatments were included in the second application on previously untreated plants. Temperature at time of treatment was 61°F and 63°F on 26 Apr. and 10 May respectively. |
