Popis:	This paper describes the conception of a pedagogical software aimed at explaining the fundamental notions of configuration and conformation of biological molecules, using the monosaccharides as a model. Pedagogical investigations were undertaken on the basis of a long-term experience in the classroom, and original technical solutions were designed to build a software comprising both interactive lecture elements and exercises. A protocol of pedagogical evaluation is proposed.
