Popis: As found by differential thermal analysis, X-ray diffraction and Mossbauer spectroscopy, the heat treatment of basalt glass fibers in air leads to complete iron oxidation and the bulk growth of superparamagnetic magnesioferrite particles which act as nucleation sites for pyroxene crystallization.
