Popis:	The process of phase formation of the complex perovskite-like oxide GdSrFeO4 at a temperature of 1300°C is investigated. The dependence of the phase composition and the chemical environment of iron atoms on the synthesis time is determined using X-ray powder diffraction and Mossbauer spectroscopy.
