The selective triggering system with proportional chambers for the small angle π-p scattering experiment at 40 and 50 GeV

Popis: The described system gave permission for triggering of the magnetic spectrometer with magnetostrictive spark chambers when the required conditions for scattering angle of particle were satisfied. Six were proportional chambers were used as detectors for the decision making analog system. The trigger rate was on an average about 15 when detecting the particles scattered for angles greater than 0.5 mrad. The system required about 300 ns for analysing one event.
