Popis: | Accurate battery thermal dissipation data is required to design the thermal control system for a satellite battery. In this study, the thermal dissipation of a Saft, 40Ah, VL48E Li-ion battery cell with a graphitic negative electrode and a LiNi0.8Co0.15Al 0.05O2 positive electrode was characterized as a function of parameters such as discharge rate, charge voltage, discharge time and temperature. The data can be used in a FEM simulation to predict battery temperatures. |
