Popis:	Experiments were carried out on a passive thermal system built in Toulouse, France. The study is dealing with ventilated walls. The walls were made up of vertical hollow terra-cotta bricks. One wall was used as a reference. In the case of the second, the first row of cavities was 220cm high and open at its ends. Results obtained from data collected from April to October 1999 show that the open vertical slots allow removing part of solar radiation.
