Popis: This article investigates the relationship between urban landscapes and the challenges imposed by climate change. As a case study, the city of Copenhagen is discussed from both a normative and practical point of view. The article investigates the normative and planning process that has brought the urban landscape of Copenhagen one step closer towards a more effective interaction between natural and human factors, as outlined in the CEP. In addition, the paper also presents examples of nature-based solutions to improve adaptation to climate change, reducing the environmental risks and improving the quality of life. A positive aspect of the city planning process is that climate change provides a framework for all projects and is a primary driver of urban regeneration.
