Popis: Light is vital for photosynthesis to occur. When plants perform photosynthesis, their give different responses to different light wavelengths. Plants can perform photosynthesis in red and blue light at the most and in green light at the least. In this study, lighting devices consisting of 3 red and blue LEDs were used to measure the photosynthesis efficiency of Brachypodium plant and to find out which color temperature was better. In order to prevent environmental factors from affecting the measurements, a test booth was used. In the system, there are camera for taking images and sensors for measuring temperature, humidity, oxygen, carbon dioxide and FAR. The image of the lighting system (LEDs) is taken with the help of the camera and sensors measure the changing condition as the photosynthesis takes place. An image processing-based software was developed to determine ideal color temperature for photosynthesis. The color temperature of each light design is calculated with this software. As a result of evaluating the information coming from the sensors, it was concluded that the highest efficiency was obtained at 4000 °K, 3000 °K and 2000 °K color temperatures, respectively.
