Popis: A D B Webster (“David”) was born in Stanmore, Middlesex, on 1 March 1940. He was a junior registrar at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital from 1967 to 1969. He passed his membership exam for the Royal College of Physicians in 1969 and consolidated his general medical training in the Wessex regional renal unit. Having discovered an interest in and a flair for immunology, David joined the clinical research centre at Northwick Park Hospital as a senior registrar in immunology, the first to be created in 1971.
