Some Thoughts on Unlocking the Potential of Existing Trade in Services Rules

Popis:	This contribution suggests that EU trade in services remains below its potential, and that trade in services rules are a likely (co )culprit. The rules are highly complex and appear vastly under-used. This suggests that there is a large untapped potential for increasing EU trade in services under the existing rules. One way to tap into this potential is by leveraging existing trade in services rules, as these seem to contain power that may sometimes be underestimated or underexplored. This contribution points to a few such circumstances.
