Popis: | Future telepresence and virtual reality applications (e.g., future video conference systems) will exploit 3D models and 3D data obtained from images of real scenes (existing systems are often limited to 2D capabilities). This information will be mixed with synthetic data in advanced synthetic-image-generation systems. High quality and performing tools for the creation of 3D scenes and models are key elements for the development of these systems. We present here some tools and results which are still ill-assorted, but show the feasibility of such future telepresence systems. |
